I think asking Merlin’s Minecraft efforts to compare to Super Nintendo World is a tall order. Universal’s lands cost hundreds of millions of dollars each, whereas Chessington’s Minecraft land was pegged at £20m, if I’m remembering rightly? Merlin’s financial might just isn’t at the same level.

Minecraft is arguably a bit more A-list than some IPs Merlin have gone with, though, so I do wonder if that might lead to a higher level of quality.

£80m was for multiple Minecraft attractions across multiple Merlin sites. If I’m not mistaken, isn’t there a Legoland somewhere that’s rumoured to be doing a Minecraft attraction as well?

In general I would agree for most roles, but generally once you get to director level I think it is more about negotiation of pay.
But yes for most roles it really should be on the advert.
