Chessington World of Adventures Resort

And we won't know with Minecraft till its complete to compare it to Super Nintendo World I think could compete with the one at Universal Studios Hollywood.
I think asking Merlin’s Minecraft efforts to compare to Super Nintendo World is a tall order. Universal’s lands cost hundreds of millions of dollars each, whereas Chessington’s Minecraft land was pegged at £20m, if I’m remembering rightly? Merlin’s financial might just isn’t at the same level.

Minecraft is arguably a bit more A-list than some IPs Merlin have gone with, though, so I do wonder if that might lead to a higher level of quality.

Wasn't it £80 Million pledged

Lots of photos at the normal place.

I know we have a lot of armchair operation director experts around these parts. So, if someone fancies leaping out of said chair and giving it a bash to be the park's Resort Operations and Experience Director, here's the link.
It would be a hard job Managing people is not easy and you don't just gain respect from worker you earn it.

Would be a cool job get Vampire back on 3 trains with new operating system

I hate the festering boil that is "competitive" pay as it's just designed to reduce the offering.

Just publicise your pay range then you aren't going to be wasting everyone's time

In general I would agree for most roles, but generally once you get to director level I think it is more about negotiation of pay.
But yes for most roles it really should be on the advert.

Interesting little anecdote, my son had a school trip this week (ages 10/11) and his whole class were too scared to go on Mandrill Mayhem except him and one other as it was deemed intimidating.

Welled up with thoosie pride.

Makes me wonder how Paultons new one will fare in that regard…

Would it be best for a inverting rollercoaster to be indoors for kids first inversion that way they can't see the element so the fear kinda goes away
That didn’t give me any reassurance when I was 8 and had the opportunity to make Rock’n’Rollercoaster (as it was then known) at Disneyland Paris my first inverting coaster… a boy from my primary school class told me it went upside down and he got tummy ache and I staunchly refused to ride it as a result!

I’m now slightly bitter about that 14 years on, which is not helped by the fact that my dad and sister raved about it and said it was “one of the best coasters [they’d] ever been on”! I did get to ride the Florida version 8 years later, and it was decent, but I’m still bitter with myself that I didn’t do it in Paris…

I’ve got provisional plans to return to DLP next year, and Flight Force is one of the rides I care most about going on purely for the sake of avenging my 8 year old self and getting the +1 I denied myself in 2011!

Took me longer to pluck up the courage to go on the Black Hole despite going on the Beast a year or two prior.

The mystery of not knowing what the ride actually is can sometimes be more intimidating to kids.

Not just kids either; an adult member of my group at Europa only rode Eurosat Can Can Coaster after the rest of us had done it.
