[202X] Project Horizon (SW9?): Planning Approved

The park will be mad to let this lapse. A new area and major indoor coaster is just what the park needs. Hopefully the period of restoring and reopening attractions is winding down and we can start to get excited about new things soon.

Perhaps there’s a wider plan to rejuvenate life into that corner of the park too, but who knows. I know it’s been mentioned loads on this forum but I do think an original IP of Port Discovery would be epic for that area. Headline indoor coaster, headline dark boat ride, a supporting dark ride (GG retheme), get the indoor theatre reopened, and then 1 or 2 supporting minor flat rides. It has the potential to be the largest and most complete themed areas of the park dedicated to all ages.

I think a nice flat ride could be a drop tower in Adventure Land called something like 'The Yoyo' themed around a yoyo. Could easily fit in as if I remember rightly there are some SBNO shops or kiosks that could go.

Would a drop tower not be too tall for the area? Given it's location right at the park entrance and the parks tree height limit? I would struggle to see a drop tower with any meaningful height being allowed in almost any area of the park, let alone Adventure Land. This is without expensive excavations of course.
