[2026] CBeebies Land Junior Coaster

For a comparison point, the first track of the Octonauts Rollercoaster Adventure appeared just after Christmas 2014, and the coaster was open by 21st March 2015. So it wouldn't be surprising if we only saw groundwork occurring during the open season this year, with the coaster track arriving on site at some point during the closed season.

I think for Octonauts, and I'd expect the same here, the staging site for the coaster was the staff car park located between the Security Lodge and the Main Entrance.
It is the foundation work that takes the time.

I am expecting a March opening usually Towers are good at opening rides in Marchh although some have been pushed back before.

Recently BBC announced that they have commissioned a doctor who animated series for pre school children. Assuming the show is something akin to bluey (different story each episode) I reckon that when the show comes out (2027 - 28) we could get Doctor Who in Cbeebies Land which I would absolutely love as an avid Whovian. Even if the ride was for 3 year olds!

I'm thinking that they could go with the main series as it's own standalone ride i.e. Project Horizon?

It's a theory because to divert attention from it.
I doubt Project Sunshine would divert attention from Project Horizon in any meaningful way, even if it had been designed to (which I highly doubt). They’re likely for completely different target audiences for one (those interested in Sunshine are unlikely to be interested in Horizon, and vice versa).

Not to mention that vloggers and such, not least the casual visiting populace, do have the capacity to comprehend more than one theme park construction project at once. For instance, look over to Florida, where VelociCoaster started being built while Hagrid’s was still under construction. Hagrid’s certainly didn’t distract any of the vloggers from what was heating up on the VelociCoaster site!

Besides all of that, I highly doubt Alton Towers would overly care about diverting attention from Project Horizon. If anything, I can only imagine they’d want attention on it, as having two rides under construction at once will look even more positive and exciting than having one under construction!

Thats like saying an orange placed delicately on a bench would divert attention from a naked man dancing manically down the high street.

Conclusion, no it won’t.
Depends on the circumstances. If the orange was blue but it was normal for men to dance naked down the high street, wouldn't it be able to divert attention? Point is, if this rollercoaster is different to other ones in AT, even if it is smaller, the larger coaster would be a lot 'normaller' than the smaller one in comparison.
