Scarefest 2025

With the new company taking over Scarefest could they not refresh Mine Tours again? As in actually do something to it to make it different this time? Even a new storyline all together? I know it’s wishful thinking but with this new entertainment company coming on board I’m sure they want to show off what they can achieve and pull off no?

10 seconds in, in a cardboard box under the monitor.
ah my video quality was set too low,

I don't think this is a puzzle, I think it may be a thing with the theme,

I can't find much on the theming of 13 (other than some vines, not to go alone and a burial ground)

for instance the vines may be called lesh and a wall where they originate is the lesh wall or something

Perhaps for the first year, it would be easier to keep 4 established mazes, to see how it works and then the following year they can go all out.

Was thinking earlier about the new presumed scare zone, and was wondering whether it is going to be on the Darkest Depths/Roller Disco path that’s been shut all season. Especially if the exit for the new maze is the former Darkest Depth entrance, it would serve as a complimentary piece for the maze.

Non-ticket holders would essentially get a preview of what the maze entails, with the entrance for the zone starting at the Roller Disco plot, whilst those going through the maze would effectively have something atmospheric to walk out into instead of just being blinded out into the theme park pathway.

Also I’m surprised about the spread of Scarefest this year, every corner of the park has something going for it and definitely will give a whole park experience compared to previous years when Scarefest stuff has only really been present on the lawns/towers complex. I mean we have the West Wing of the Towers, Wicker Man’s construction path, behind Gloomy Woods toilets, Dark Forest and the Dungeons building all as locations.

Comparing with Thorpe’s Fright Nights, it seems Towers have definitely been given the bigger budget for new stuff this year as Fright Nights has a nearly identical event from last year. I definitely think Scarefest has potential to be the top theme park Halloween event again!!

It might have a weird atmosphere this year as with all the cut backs going on, I’m under the impression there be no central hub on the lawns, No stage or canopy they had last year, potential no food trucks either?

The Scarefest page seems to suggest the ents will happen in the courtyard.

I assume we’ll just get the little stage they used for Feb half term and it will just have some of the kids shows and meet and greets. There won’t be any of the singers or anything.

As for food other than truck or two in the corner like at Oktoberfest, I’m guessing we won’t have anything else.

Think its a better spot for shows already has undercovered seating and its quite a nice spot being surrounded by walls keeps you in the immersion

What's on the poster in the video? And what are those hooded figures (don't think they're wraiths)?
I'm pretty certain the poster is a nod to the original marketing for Thirteen. All the original flyers were in that style, of two short strap lines above and below a stylised image of the Dark Forest, etc.

And those are the wraiths... in practice those costumes tended to have that distinctive two-tone diamond shape to them due to the actors elbows.

Not like there’s an attraction in Dark Forest already themed to this…

I guess the whole abandoned drag racing theme will be part of the Th13teen girl backstory, I don’t think it’ll be just wraiths alone.
I didn't think Rita would've been involved in the TH13TEEN scare maze personally, but it makes sense.

Does show some commitment to the ride though. Which is good!

I can’t think for the life of me where near Dark Forest this will be? Wouldn’t work in the actual area so I’m wondering if it can be anywhere close to where Roller Disco used to be situated?
