Looks like they've already built pride rock so I'm certain the ride will open in time for Christmas this year.

I'd imagine a Spring/Summer 2028 opening is most likely. 2 years seems ample time but obviously you don't want to open a new log flume attraction in winter.

2028 would make sense- I know a completely different ride but Monster Inc land/coaster at Hollywood studios has started construction now and that’s expected to be a spring/summer 2028 opening.

Plus there has been some rumours of finally a major new ride being added to the main park in 2029 (but there has been rumours of major new rides at that park for two decades! So who knows!).

So weird to see this being done in the park. Will they build round it or take it down and build it again?

Maybe @Hid 2026 suggestion isn't so ludicrous

Really confusing as to why they needed to build a test version of a log flume's drop segment. Shoot The Chutes is a solved problem by about a century, so I have really no idea what they're looking to learn here

It's so they can drag the construction out by another two years. The best thing is they've obviously just literally built a boat ride right next to it
