Chessington World of Adventures Resort

Realistically, I think ambulant RAP should probably be on the onload side.

Non-ambulant RAP should probably remain on the offload side (and non-ambulant RAP is a small enough minority that it probably doesn’t slow down operations significantly in the grand scheme), but I see no reason why ambulant RAP couldn’t be on the onload side like everyone else.
Have they put ambulant RAP into onload side or is all RAP offload side?
All RAP is offload side, or at least was in 2023. There were only 2 station staff on the whole thing, and they were having to simultaneously juggle batching, restraint checking and sending the train (one batched the main queue, while the other batched RAP).

No Merlin park is going to add extra staff to do tasks like many mention even if the ride could hand three trains (which it can't) - expect more and more to see less and less ride staff. Vampire used to have 6-8 working the queue and load now it's half that. That won't change

Ironically the "Step Free" access has many steps and the main queue line has none.
That makes 100% no sense!!! I'm surprised why they couldn't just make all board from onload and work out what to do with the entrance at Trail of the Kings.

Maybe when there's new developments in the area, their hand will be forced.

I don't think the main queue would be wheelchair accessible as it's very long and winding.

A ramped path could be fitted to the Trail of Kings entrance but it would be a lot of construction.

Ambulant RAP could share with FT as suggested but both lines can already get quite long so combining them wouldn't be practical. The existing FT is too narrow to even divide it in two for sharing. This could also theoretically be modified but again would require significant construction which i don't think they have the appetite for.

Tbh i don't think it's a major issue currently. Generally the RAP queue is short now and with only 2-4 passengers per train is not hindering loading. As i mentioned, i've seen ops running both trains on the track recently which is as good as it can get. The days of 3 trains running are over.

We'll have Paw Patrol and Minecraft in the next 2 years which one would hope notably increases capacity and alleviates the burden on Vampire. Then we can all turn to complaining about their respective poor throughputs :D
