Don't think that is true I had a visit Towers this year and they were rolling trains on various coasters particularly on Rita. Th13teen and Wickerman.Thorpe have a much stronger commitment to getting trains out quickly than Alton Towers

From my own observations it is most definitely true. I think you need a larger sample size of data.Don't think that is true I had a visit Towers this year and they were rolling trains on various coasters particularly on Rita. Th13teen and Wickerman.

Obviously depends on the time of day and the actual day you visit but I have definitely seen on numerous occasions over the years hosts running (or at least borderline jogging - running probably not allowed!) up and down the Wickerman train fully opening restraints after guests have got off and then checking them once guests are in the train. When I last visited in August the Swarm team appeared to be going for a record-breaking number of dispatches per hour and the Ninferno crew were literally running down the platform checking restraints. I've never seen anything like that at Towers.

From my personal experiences, I don’t think Alton are necessarily any slower than Thorpe.
On my most recent visit in July, Thirteen was absolutely flying, with an average dispatch interval of under a minute and some individual dispatches being as quick as 50s. Smiler was also doing really well, hitting almost 900pph on occasion. Wicker Man also did well, and Nemesis and Galactica were both memorably pretty prompt. The staff members on Nemesis were making a real effort to chivvy people along.
The park can be pretty fast, from my experiences!
