Speculation time... Could the supposed Jurassic coaster be a Mack Extreme Spinner?

I think reading a lot into the concept art is risky. They have only just employed a ton of designers to work on the project so that concept art might represent the broad direction but things are highly likely to change.

I suspect when it comes to the coasters they will still be tendering the contracts so multiple vendors will be bidding for each coasters project at the moment.

It’s raining in the video, which really legitimises it as a UK coaster for me.

I think believing the coaster is going to be one of the rarest models out there based on a single element is grasping at straws. Especially as the coaster itself looks like it's not the finalised one - it's vague and lacking detail. We've seen people believe it's a flying coaster or a wing coaster, this feels like someone wishing for a Xtreme Spinner and see that in the design, nothing more, nothing less.

Until they drop a more refined concept art, I think we'll all be grasping at straws when it comes to that coaster.

Whilst this is all true, we're probably not going to know anything for another 3-4 years (if not more, sob) so i think it's harmless fun to speculate in the meantime and it's quite nice when someone goes to the effort of creating something so visual!

It's also not that wild a suggestion considering two of the coasters at the most recent Universal park (Epic) were made by Mack and one is a launched spinning coaster. For it to be an Extreme variant when the other major coaster in the park already looks rather intense does seem unlikely but i suppose that ultimately depends on the other park offerings.

There's been much speculation that the BTTF coaster will be the intamin spinning model to lessen the intensity of that first inversion. Universal aren't the types to outfit their park with two very specific niche coaster types (spinning). But again this is all speculation and none of us know anything.

*shrugs* I want to believe it's gonna be a BTTF coaster and the evidence is far more substantial in that regard than any speculation about coaster models, especially for the green coaster which is as vague as they come. But sure I'm a hypocrite, it is what it is.

The BTTF Coaster speculation has both a trademark and visual details that are carbon-copies from the movies (the facade shape). The green coaster is just a vague green coaster layout.
