Legoland Windsor

I watched a POV of that earlier, and wouldn't quite describe it as a 'Disney level' coaster. It's fine for what it is, but it pales in comparison to the Disney-level coasters an hour away, at Disney.

In fact, the concept is so similar to the Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind coaster at Epcot, it's almost as if they're inviting the unflattering comparison. The difference being, when this opens, you'll definitely be able to get on it easily, without having to wake up at 5 in the morning to try and get a Fastpass ticket.

It would be fine at Windsor, but I expect this serves more as a preview of what Minecraft's headline attraction up the road might look like.

Temu Cosmic Rewind does look fun if short. I'm more disappointed that the customisation thing they were pushing is choosing some pre-selected variants which don't seem to appear on the ride anyway?

Putting Speedway on the hillside doesn't help it at all.

Apparently legoland have revealed their 5 year plan taking them up to 2031 at a pass holder event(just when Universal expected to open!)

The rapids to be replaced by a new roller coaster which will extend a land near by

All existing lands to be fully refurbished by 2031- inc new models, flooring, repaints inc a full castle repaint

New land were the skyrider was

New 4d cinema

large investments into the hotels Inc big room furniture investments

Overhaul of the food working wugh Aramark aiming for better quality and more themed food and using Disney food as a reference point

Lots of cool stuff coming, Legoland Windsor is my personal favourite Legoland park mainly due to the amount of rides and some areas do look a bit tired. Dragon Castle repaint sorely needed and many other overhauls. Legoland and Chessington are the clear focus at the moment. Suppose it also puts down that theory Merlin don't invest in the parks

And I'm assuming by 'New Land where the Sky Flyer was', that would translate to a retheme of Bricktopia. Presumably at the same time the new 4D Cinema opens?
Yes it would seem so

There's also talk of another new ride in this area, that 'fits in with Minifigure Speedway' and will involve a refurbishment of the Learning Academy building...

Not sure if this means a ride inside the building or perhaps a replacement for the Sky Rider, but it's certaintly interesting.

Will be interesting to see how they expand the Ninjago area because it is on such a steep hill and the main building has its back to the area where the rapids ride is. I guess they could have the entrance and the queue line to the new ride in the area behind Destinys Bounty.
The spinning Ninjago coaster in Korea looks fun tame
