Ride Availability/Operations 2022-26

The problem is, 1.2m children want to go on more thrilling rides than a rocking tug and some tea cups.
Tea cups can be quite thrilling depending how fast you spin some pin you to your seat specfically fire bowl at Fantasy Island

Not sure recommending a ride in a park over 100 miles away is going to satisfy the child in question.

Rita, Hex, Galactica, Nemesis and Toxicator so far by 1pm. Dropped onto Rita opening early, into Hex and single queue on Galactica not too bad. Single queue on toxicator was not far off the main queue ~35 when main was 45.

No Oblivion at all today. Smiler still closed and on late opening it seems as others have stated.

Feel for the families today especially with Katanga Canyon shut and X-Sector being shut inflating queue times elsewhere.

So apparently The Smiler stopped with one train at the top of the vertical lift last night with another train at the bottom of the lift meaning they couldn't reverse the train in front, Im not how much truth is in this so if anyone can clarify that would be great, Just wondering if this is the reason for The Smiler not opening so far today.

I’ve seen a couple of TikTok’s showing the train reversing down the second lift in the dark last night.

It's now open 😊

Wow 2 trains and still 90 mins it must be busy

That's the thing though - it isn't particularly busy.

As of right now Oblivion, RMT, Rapids, Battle Galleons and the Skyride are all closed. Of the rides that are open Galactica is on half capacity and WM is missing a train. Rides having long queues is largely a result of the park's own failings, not their success in drawing people in. This is particularly true of Galactica.

No RAP was an "extended wait".

Whilst they prioritise Fastrack because "there's too many".

Can really tell the current ones in charge are from Thorpe.

Smiler 2.5hr main queue, single rider 90 min and RAP 90 min

How is the length of RAP being measured?

@Matt N i know we have disagreed on this matter in the past but as we enter the second consecutive weekend of dismal queue lengths, i can only reiterate this is why for many AT has the reputation it does. If you can only visit on peak days, the expectation is for there to be very long waits and poor availability.

Will this be reflected at Thorpe from next week? We shall see. It hasn't been the case for Chessington and Legoland so far this year.

Multiple attractions in the red, multiple attractions down on top of the already advertised closures.

Given the queue outside GS as we're leaving the feedback will continue to be negative until the park pull their fingers out.

Next weekend will be interesting given the surge to BlueyCred.
