Legoland Windsor
Part of me hopes desperately that Fiona Eastwood is obsessed with transport to their attractions and parks as much as Nick Varney loved worlds firsts for major projects! Being serious this is very clever branding and marketing, Merlin have always been pretty good at marketing but this in particular was somewhat of a shock.
Whilst buses are being cut for Alton..
Hopefully they encourage this at their other parks

This service and route already existed, and no additional trains have been put on. They've just sponsored the livery of a single train, that's all.

The decision to end the X41 bus service was made by an independent commercial operator, not Merlin. D&G determine their routes, their pricing and timetables alone.
Its Lego's decision what models stay and what go
Had a nice day out with the family at Legoland on Sunday.
We arrived about 10 minutes before the park opened and there was a little show to celebrate the 30th birthday but it was difficult to make out any of it from behind the crowd.
The plan was to go right at the entrance but that route was shut all day, probably because of the removal of Viking River Splash.
Despite that we kept to the plan of starting on that side of the park and working our way back towards the entrance and I think that helped us avoid a lot of queuing throughout the day. According to queue-times the park was 65% full, which was more than I expected but we never queued more than 15 minutes and we got on plenty of rides.
We avoided Flight of the sky lion, Fire Academy and Coastguard HQ as they had 40 minute queues all day but some rides like Ninjago said they had a 25 minute queue but it was more like 10. I didn't notice that any rides were shut or broken down apart from the pirate ship which is being refurbished.
The only disappointment was that I thought there was also going to be a dance show for the kids at the harbour but it seems like that has now ended.

Sky Lion is a miserable queue. Have they fixed any of the broken gondolas yet or is the top tier still closed?

We were in row G, so normal full service I think?
We were at the back of the queue for a good 10 mins, with people joining behind us and then leaving shortly after. There were also moments of false hope as people from further up the queue were giving up and leaving, resulting in decent movement early on before the eventual stall.
We enjoyed ourselves, as we do each time on Sky Lion. Queue time vs enjoyment bang isn't awful for that metric.

Quite a big assumption to assume those gondolas are broken, and not just closed off due to staffing.

One of the most expensive places to live in the whole of the UK and they have to rely on minimum wage workers to operate. It's an absolute mystery to me how they stay open.
