Here is another one of my science updates, is there an honorary position available on the team?

There are a couple of viewers online to see this massive gigapicture of the milky way. http://www.spitzer.caltech.edu/glimpse360

They show all the things that can be seen in the infra red light from our milky way. It is really impressive and I would urge you all to have a look and explore our little part of the universe.

The best viewer is the Aladin one as you can navigate to interesting places.

Its amazing how much is out there, all those little pin pricks of light could be a star with planets around it which could support life. You could be looking at a galaxy with life in it.

Had a little glance at the 360 map, i don't think i've ever felt so insignificant in all my life....and thats just a tiny tiny spec of the universe. Incredible. It makes you wonder, there could be other life looking at a tiny spec from their galaxy completely unaware that they're looking at us!

I know it is mind blowing! The distances are MASSIVE. We could be looking at worlds that have had life evolve and die off and we have no idea that life was there.
