Scarefest 2015

Is there any construction photos of Nox Infernus or Dark Apocalypse? I've not seen any, and I can imagine Nox Infernus going where Zombies! was, but can't quite envision where Dark Apocalypse will go in Forbidden Valley?

It is will probably be throughout the entire area like at Universal or American Halloween events.

I'd imagine that DA will just re-use the props from zombies as the description sounds exactly like a zombie type thing.

"A deadly virus has spread across Forbidden Valley. The infected show signs of highly aggressive behavior and rapid physical decomposition. Phalanx control has quarantined the area however, a recent security breach has questioned their ability to contain the virus and keep society safe."

I have to say, I really hope it's not re-used props.
We have seen from Tower Street, there is new theming but I have a bad feeling very little will be new and the scare zone will turn out more like Scary Tales SteamPunk at Universal Florida with very few pieces of theming.

I'm more worried about nox infernus than I am with dark apocalypse. At least DA will have sets (albeit recycled from previous years), what will infernus have? It may just be poorly themed, using the forest itself as most of the theming. What else can you put in it?

That's exactly what I was thinking as well! I'm going on the 24th, so I'm not going to ruin either of them for myself (did it with Scary Tales last year) so from Saturday I'll be avoiding this thread, I really can't picture how Nox Infernus will look.

Alton said (on a FB comment) you will be able to avoid going through the scare zones in both FV and DF so idk how they r going to do it

Do you know what a scarezone is?
Yes it is a temporary attraction (well usually temporary) that involves different theming and actors trying to scare you in a zone like a long pathway or just a section (e.g. Blair Witch at Thorpe or Dark Christmas at Universal, I think that's the name but I'm not sure.)

I wonder if that means it will take up one side of the FV split, so you can still go down past the F&B outlets to avoid the scarezone?

How many years do we think it's going to take for the rest of the park to get some theming on the level of Towers Street?

A scarezone is an avoidable attraction just like a ride. You don't have to do it. You queue, you ride/walk through, you exit.

(And I thought Blair witch was a maze)

I said that it was avoidable as stated by Alton. And I get the concept of it but I'm s**t at explaining it. Blair Witch is a scare walkthrough according to the website and its not really a maze cos it takes place outside

There is no staff preview event this year.

However, Terror of the Towers was open in a very limited capacity this evening around 5.00pm for a preview of sorts.

It has been rumoured the scare zones for 2015 will not be queue-for attractions, and will operate more like how other worldwide theme parks operate theirs, a scare zone that is a part of the area that you walk through.

Although despite that there will still be diversion routes for those who wish to avoid the actors.
