Hotel stay- first time

Hi,

Visiting Alton towers for the 4th time on Monday 8th April, it will be my 1st time staying onsite at the Alton towers hotel. Any advice would be great and any prediction on the crowd level would also be helpful. Thanks.

Crowd levels are very hard to predict. Schools will be on Easter Hols in some areas (Staffordshire Easter hols which will be the following week) so I will expect it to be busy.

The vast majority of schools are off next week, Scotland is on its second week as well, but most of the tartan army runs off to Blackpool.

When you arrive, if you are staying in ATH ask for a room to the left side of the hotel, overlooking the lake away from the reception area if you want a bit of quiet in the evenings and not a view of the car park!

Agree with GaryH - ask for a lake view room.

Also make sure you've booked somewhere for dinner (if you haven't already) as the restaurants can't cope with the demand and you might end up with a terrible meal time or not getting somewhere you want.
If you've not done it yet you can through the website.
