Exactly, it doesn't need to be high end like a Mack, Intamin or B&MA signature family thrill coaster is what the park needs,. plenty of options in that category outside of the more expensive manufacturers
They could do just fine with a Zamperla, Gerstlauer or Vekoma - some of which are more cheaper or mid-range manufacturers.

The park has recently applied for and recieved a 'certificate of lawfulness for use of land as an amusement park'.Where would it go though? I don't think they are allowed to build rides in the wilderness area and around it tbh
I believe this means they are able to build structures up to 25m within the red bordered area, without having to apply for planning permission. Hence, there have been no applications for the 2026 additions.
There's a nice lot of space around the log flume and Sooty's pier as well as the fields up top.

I reckon it's gone. All mentions of it have been gutted except its page on the website where most places you can get to it directly have been removed. It even says "3 great rides" instead of 4 on the sooty land section now.Does anybody know why sooty's magic bus has been removed from the website
I went to the park recently and ride car was completely gone. Someone I know who works relatively high up at Crealy told me the Chasis has rotted away and they just can't afford to replace it right now...that's what you get for buying cheap 2nd hand rides!
Who did they buy it from?that's what you get for buying cheap 2nd hand rides!

The timings seem to fit that it's Chessington's Jungle Bus 1.0I reckon it's gone. All mentions of it have been gutted except its page on the website where most places you can get to it directly have been removed. It even says "3 great rides" instead of 4 on the sooty land section now.

I'm guessing this is something they'll look at once they can afford to replace it.
Any evidence towards that? Sounds interesting enough...The timings seem to fit that it's Chessington's Jungle Bus 1.0even if it says it got scrapped on Coasterpedia

I agree. I’ve always thought that Crealy has a lot of untapped potential. Two new (one used) rides this season is a big outlay for a park like Crealys. There is an opportunity to position themselves as one of the best family attractions in the South West now most of the competition has gone.
Perhaps they could look at going down the IP route, but a better IP than Sooty. I know that Chessington did have some rights to Madagascar while back, so perhaps some of the Dreamworks films such as Kung Fu Panda or How to Train your Dragon could be a good draw, both of which have at some point featured at Merlin parks abroad as well as at Motiongate and at a park in Brazil, so clearly the Dremworks IPs aren’t reserved exclusively for Universal parks.
Comcast, universals owners now own dreamworks. The other agreements with others parks such as Merlin, motion gate, the water park at mall in New Jersey etc predate this. Universal will not licence it out now to other parks in markets that their own parks attract guests. Many of the previous agreements that now coming to an end are not being renewed. Ie Gardalands king fu panda, dreamworld Australia completely re themed their land.
Also even if it was let’s be realistic an IP like dreamworks would be well out of the budget for somewhere like Crealy.
