The visuals imply they're adding an extra row to their standard train design. The spec sheet above states that the trains will seat 12 riders across two cars, that's 6 per per car. Don't RMC cars usually seat just 4?

Brilliant news! I adore this park, just a shame that it's a bit of a pain to get to. Will definitely look to return once they have their hotel though; no doubt it will be of the same very high standard as those found at Dollywood.
I can already imagine enjoying a nice beer or cocktail sat around a fire pit!

If the park didn't already have an RMC I'd say a conversion was likely, but I doubt that's likely. It would be a nice plot of land for something new though. It's just been confirmed by SDC on social media that Thunderation will be retiring, with its final day of operation being scheduled for 2nd January 2027.
Rumours suggest a more modern take on a mine train will replace it. I wouldn’t be surprised to see a family vekoma lim multi launch coaster with onboard audio like big bear mountain at their sister park Dollywood, as that went down very well and been a big hit for the park.
Seems like a sensible addition on a similar thrill level, although perhaps somewhat challenging to market, but I am sure they can come up with something that would be compelling enough.Rumours suggest a more modern take on a mine train will replace it. A deceivingly brilliant coaster. The yank Lisebergbanan if you will.
