Considering that Lightwater Valley is pretty much stripped out of coasters, I'd say it's probably a boost to have a number of rides to supplement the line up and put it back on the mapWhy add 2 coasters in 1 season? They're easily marketable, spread them out.
It's lost the Ultimate, Twister and Raptor Attack in recent years so one or two coasters would help boost it up. Although it would need to be different and more thrilling than the Zierer Tivoli and Wacky Worm they have which the Runaway Train might not cut it.

Interesting. tickets from 17 in quiet season to 27 in peak season. They're going for it. Hope there is enough to reflect the rise.

With the addition of all new rides, I also wonder if Mellors Group will bring back both Black Pearl and Eagles Claw at some point. I wonder what the status is currently on both of them. I heard Black Pearl went to Martin Meijer, but not completely sure. I also think that Slagharen's ex-Schwarzkopf Looping Star would be a fantastic addition to the park and would fill up a much needed gap!!

If you can survive my monotone voice, just for fun I decided to start rebuilding Lightwater Valley in Planet Coaster 2, with a few ideas of what could potentially be done. It is literally just for fun and I realise nothing like this will happen, but it does give a good indication of what is possible long term if mellors get things right. I hope you enjoy. The scaling isn't perfect but pretty close to the actual park.

This video was superb. It allowed me to escape for a short while - this park and its land really does have so much potential.

The Ultimate vehicle shells are in the rat/raptor attack warehouse. Coaster Museum in USA tried, without success, to acquire one under the BPG tenure. Wonder if Mellors will sell them off and give fans a chance to own a piece of history/nostalgia.What put the park on the map wasn't the ultimate, it was the rat.
They need to stick the wild river rapids in the rat/raptor attack warehouse. Job done!

Surprised they (BPG) didn't sell it, they sold everything else, and clearly didn't have two pennies to rub together. The Ultimate vehicle shells are in the rat/raptor attack warehouse. It's always surprised me that there isn't a rollercoaster museum in the UK. Probably wouldn't cost a huge amount to run, but would prob have a decent attendance.

Thanks, I’m tempted to start a more realistic one, but I need to get to the park to take some photos to get the buildings and elevations etc right. Will likely be April now as already booked in at Alton in March to take advantage of the Merlin passes offer for the family.

I highly doubt it would have any notable attendance after the nerds storm it in the first couple of months lol. It's always surprised me that there isn't a rollercoaster museum in the UK. Probably wouldn't cost a huge amount to run, but would prob have a decent attendance.
