TS Merlinpool Meet: 21-22 September 2013

I'd like to take you up on that offer - public transport isn't really an option with late closing.

On an unrelated note, it appears that there's some sort of enthusiast event there that day - whoever it is has ERT on Nash from 5-6pm
 
I'm not sure as i'm not there on Sunday.

However whats the plan on Saturday? What time are people getting to the pleasure beach?
 
Meeting point at Pleasure Beach, outside the Ark for 10:15am.

The park is scheduled to open at 10:00am, but let's be honest, very little will open then.

Is everyone doing the M£rlin stuff on Sunday, or does anyone fancy Sandcastle?

Hubby and I are doing the Merlin places on Sunday, we've been meaning to do them for a while anyway. Is anyone else actually doing them? Seems like most people are just going on Saturday.

Also, to the person who got a voucher for the Pleasure Beach, where did you get it?
 
Just an FYI regarding Preston Travelodge incase it hasn't been mentioned; you may want to get a paint touchup kit for your car. The carpark is below the hotel, and it's pure evil! There are pillars everywhere in it to hold the hotel up thanks to the age of the building, and the spaces are very tight if you have a larger car.

Me and Joel managed to get ours stuck last year!
 
Would a lovely person remind me on how much a Blackpool poncho is? I'm considering taking on Valhalla and I doubt either of my coats, no matter how waterproof they may be, will not do :p

I also took a look at the 'forecast' and it looks to be a chilly and cloudy 16c.

Well you'll be pleased (Or disappointed as the case may be!) to hear I didn't actually die on the slab today, so I should be there tomorrow and Sunday to soak up some Cackpool sun! :D
 
It looks like Ste and I won't be able to make it anymore as he is sick :(

We may get over there on Sunday...not sure how many people are around though.

Would have really liked to come this weekend but I'm not feeling great and haven't been for about 1 and a half weeks hopefully alright for scarefest
 
Had a great time on park yesterday, and it was great to see almost 40 people show up to join in the fun and games!

Had a really great time at this meet, lots of fun was had and it was one of the most social of the meets. Thanks to everyone who came along and thanks to Mike who gave me a lift, made a nice change not to be the taxi driver this meet :)
