Right, looks like I'm coming, and probably giving Lewis a lift as well (if anyone else would like a lift from somewhere along the M1 between the M25 and Nottingham, or from vaguely between Nottingham and Blackpool, let me know).
Still need to sort accommodation. Travelodges in Blackpool are extortionate - one option is to go for Travelodge Preston Central, which on the one hand is currently £62 for a family room for the Friday and Saturday night combined, but on the other is around 20 miles away, so bit of a commute.
Another option is a B&B - prices currently seem to be around the £70-90 mark for three adults for the two nights, so anyone interested in joining up?
Any other ideas / people looking for accommodation?

Last year me and Sammy stayed in a B&B (no idea of the name, i'm sure Sam might remember). It was basic but cheap and for the amount of time we spent in the room it didn't really matter. We didn't check in till about 10pm, and then went straight out for a few drinks. I'm hoping to do the same this year, maybe also have a stay over on the Friday night, but not 100% on that yet.

Me and Sam have decided we will be there just for the Saturday. Its too expensive to stay over and this does seem to be what most people are doing

anyone needing accommodation? also have seats in a car available starting from Essex, and going on he M1, if anyone is in need of a lift there? Or does anyone have free seat in there car?
