But Despicable Me is a film about an evil villain adopting three girls, the four main characters are an adult male and three girls. It’s overall a pretty generic kids film not particularly skewed to either gender. I don’t think there is any evidence to say they won’t let alone strong evidence.

But thats the point, the teenage boys don't want to visit Disney parks for those attractions and the parks and those rides are still incredibly popular. The fact some attractions won't have boys wanting to ride them isn't a reason not to build them. Teenagers won't want to go to the Octonauts...

Portofino Bay is the most expensive hotel at Universal, so can't really be compared to Rosen Inn (one of the cheapest hotels in the area). Also don't forget the original three Universal Hotels (Portofino Bay, Hard Rock Hotel & Royal Pacific) include unlimited express pass at the original two...

I still don't see significant January opening. I think the autumn opening will expand and Christmas will keep getting bigger. Then close down after the kids go back to school and re-open for half-term at the end of Feb.

Oblivion opened March 1998, Tussauds bought Thorpe Park in 1998. The X Sector theme was set in stone long before the Thorpe Park purchase. I don't think that Tussauds acquiring Thorpe had any reflection on the X Sector theming for Oblivion and the surrounding area.

Yep and I think the leadership likely realise that planning permission to build a building in that area is still a good thing, as you are unlikely to get anything without a building in that area, even if you then change plans on what to do with the building it makes sense to keep the planning...
