Thanks, but yes, I know all of that. I was answering the post before which asked if this years offering is worse/less than last year’s, which it is, unfortunately, for the reasons you state.
Then go for a walk if you’re able. Headphones/sunglasses/mask on. Being outdoors can be a real mood booster if you’re able to do it & have somewhere pleasant to walk along (excluding a dual carriageway of course!).
But humans can fall apart too! For some it’s been a real struggle keeping it together during the lockdown for sure. And when at AT I often feel like striking a whole train-load of people - not just those behind me. Dummies are much safer in this regard.

Yeah I think you’re right. Strobe flashing while other lights still on - completely pointless, but then again so was everything about the Imperial Leather re-theme.
The strobes were fine for the first 15 years. There was a warning at the entrance - don’t ride if epileptic/sensitive to them. Removing them in 06 was senseless, and ruined the finale for the 99% of people who could tolerate them.
Wow - I agree. Although I do think that due to increased/unnecessary H&S laws there became so many restrictions on who could/couldn’t sit where/when. “If they were under X age they couldn’t sit on the ends. If they were over X age but under X height they couldn’t sit on the ends or on their own...
The problem with the Gruffalo is that (for teens/adults) its good perhaps the first time (maybe twice) but after that it’s boring. It’s just not rideable once you’ve done it. It’s really is boring. For young kids, obviously not so much, but even for them I can guarantee they would have loved the...
