Amazing how much busier it made it feel. The Rita queue was the culprit for us leaving the park as the cattle pen without social distancing caused far too much anxiety for us.

I'm going to this on Friday, staying in Splash Landings hotel that night. Though getting brekkie on the Saturday seems to be an issue - there's no tables available in any of the hotels. Anyone else had this issue? Customer services seem to be of little help.

I know a lot of the comments here are tongue-in-cheek, but I like the planning restrictions at AT. It's what's made the place so unique and driven some creative solutions around the planning laws! Let's face it, the other parks in the UK don't have the same restrictions yet somehow haven't...

I think there's a bit of selective memory going on there. AT marketed Air as the world's first flying coaster when there was already a (Vekoma?) ride that could take that crown. No denying it was very new, cutting edge technology they were using for a ride, but they were essentially lying. So...

You're all such a bunch of moaners! I think this is a great investment. AT are due a really good family coaster and a woodie, so I'm glad they're doing both. The flume was well overdue being scrapped and, as others have pointed out, the new ride can't use the same ride area due to new planning...

Hmmm, I disagree. The queueline shop doesn't make the queue any longer for a guest waiting behind someone buying food/drink. It just makes it a bit... stop/start. If I bent down to tie my shoelace I would have issue with people overtaking me in the queue just because I'd decided to stop for a...

It's funny you say that - the complete opposite happened yesterday... The shop staff were telling people in the queue to not wait and just walk past/ahead of people buying stuff! I wouldn't have been happy if I was one of the people being jumped ahead of!

Well, I went to AT yesterday to ride The Smiler... We joined the queue at about 10am, the ride the opened just after 11 and we were sat on it at 1pm. The queue didn't seem to get much shorter than 3 hours all day. The ride was running with 4 cars, which was good. But I did see a few fast track...

Can anyone who's been on park today say how long the queues for The Smiler were? I'm thinking of going to go next Saturday as it's the only chance I'll have to have a go this year!
