Last time someone flew a quadcopter over Alton Towers they were fined £550 because they were an idiot and flew it very close to The Smiler, Oblivion and Sonic Spinball, and the hundreds of guests walking around. Should have been fined a lot more!
It will be a private event, so anyone who hasn't got a valid ticket to the event wouldn't be allowed in. If an organisation has decided to hire out the park (and spent a considerable amount of money doing so) they would be a bit annoyed if anyone could turn up and gain access.
This event hasn't...
I presume it will run similar to how Disney have done their very popular events. Open from 6am - 6am and then reopen for the next operating day a few hours later. Rides would potentially go down for a few hours to do their daily checks ready for
the next day.
Disneyland have apparently been...
Ultimately, attraction operators are going to clone their successful IPs, it saves the company money and it is easy to justify to investors that the product is likely to perform well because it has been proven in the past.
Disney and Universal are always cloning their rides and don't get called...
I'm interested to see the final take on a up-to-date Oblivion theme.
There is no harm reusing ideas in markets which aren't competing with each other, especially as it's not even an identical copy of the original Oblivion. If it was built at Thorpe Park and called Oblivion it would be an issue...
No more fastrack and disabled groups will be joining the line after ride close so the queue would move significantly quicker.
A queue at the 90 minute point would be 90 in the day but significantly shorter after ride close.
Sorry, I forgot that B&M were masters at fitting multi-inversion coasters into such a tiny site....
Some of you are clearly rather soft based on how rough you make the ride out to be.
The Hex staff always wear high-viz jackets. Sometimes with the Heritage Restoration logo, sometimes without. It's extremely rare for them not to be worn.
Hex also now has white hard hats with a Heritage Restoration logo on them.
Pretty much every review has said how the ride is pretty good and doesn't translate well into poor quality YouTube videos.
Ratatouille cost $150 million.
Grizzy Mountain and Mystic Manor cost $500 million between them.
Bit of a difference in budget, especially considering how France building...
I'm sure it will be great for all the families which are visiting to see how busy the ride suitable for them are. It's just as important to display the kids rides as it is the big coasters.
When the park is open the rides are ordered by their length of queue, so the order will make more sense...
I'm sure plenty of people parked down there making sure they weren't causing issues for the locals, but there will always be a few idiots who ruin it for everyone else!

I can't imagine the people who live on Wooton Road enjoy visitors restricting their access, you can barely fit one car down there as it is!

There is enough blocks in the brake area for 5 vehicles.
So maybe have a think before saying people where slacking. Maybe the vehicle couldn't proceed forward due to a technical error?
