    Thirteen: General Discussion

As Craig say's make sure what is said is 100% accurate, otherwise we will end up in a situation of Chinese whispers. From my understanding, there were no roll back, just the train slipping on the lifthill. When this actually happened I can't say. If an incident did happened with regards to a...

    Thirteen: General Discussion

That is an article about a low speed collision that took place back in September. From what I understand from various staff members, the roll back took place early October, a few days before the start of Scarefest and the trains were empty and did not make it back to the station or collided...

Security at Theme Parks and Other Public Places

Oh by the way, did I ever mention that I take the legal penknife into venues where they do security checks? If you take a closer look, I have a carabiner clip attached to my keys, this is not to attach the key to myself, but to allow me to separate some of my keys so that I can leave my...

    Fireworks 2021

Fully understand and get where you are coming from here. I feel the same way too. I've been a loyal pass holder since back in the Tussauds' day. I've not left Norfolk since the first lockdown and Jess and I are slowly edging back into our old routine for going out. We understand things are...

Security at Theme Parks and Other Public Places

Thanks for your concern. For over 10 years now, we carry a lot of paper work with us including medical history, disability entitlement, as well as an official detailed care plan which explains everything including all equipment/tools carried and why. You be surprised that the pocket knife...

Security at Theme Parks and Other Public Places

Carrying a foldable non locking knife with a blade of less than 3" is legal and you don't need to have a good reason for carrying one. I shared this because a fellow wheelchair was questioned by BPB security for carrying essential tools for his wheelchair, but then again BPB security won't let...

What’s your preferred loose article storage solution when visiting theme parks?

Zip pockets all the way. Usually I just leave loose items with my wife in the wheelchair. Alternative, just invite a friend who don't like rollercoasters ;)

Security at Theme Parks and Other Public Places

Yes and no, We carry all sorts with us including knifes, scissors, cutlery, spanners, screwdrivers etc... We need these to repair Jess' wheelchair as well as to cut medical dressings as well as her mobility needs. If we require them for medical/mobility reason, they can't prevent us from...

Security at Theme Parks and Other Public Places

It's not illegal to carry a pocket knife providing the cutting blade is less than 3" Here are my set of keys that I carry around

    Fireworks 2021

Do carers still have to pay £20 to pre-book the fireworks or are carers free as in previous years when a disable person pre-book? I should imagine that fact that they are charging £20 to pre-book, the 3 pre-booking date restrictions won't count

    Fireworks 2021

It's great to see that the platinum pass holders are not getting charge. But it still seem to work out cheaper to purchase a gold pass and pay the £20 (£60 for all three days) where as the platinum pass is £80 more than the gold pass

Security at Theme Parks and Other Public Places

That is terrible. We carry tools for Jess' wheelchair. I would write a letter of complaint, you have mobility equipment and you need tools to keep your mobility equipment in working order

    Merlin Annual Pass

That seems mean, considering that only the Platinum passes are valid on those days and there is an £80 difference between that and the gold pass. Looks like they are stinging pass holders twice. Might as well go for the gold pass and pay for the day tickets for the fireworks, would work out...

    Merlin Annual Pass

I don't think that there is any incentive for me to park with my money to renew my MAP when it runs out. The only one available is the discovery pass with so many restrictions and if getting Fireworks dates are going to be difficult to obtain plus there is an up charge, I will take my money to...

    Strange Roller Coasters

This has given me ideas, you own personal coaster.

Check out this thread https://towersstreet.com/talk/threads/best-worst-backyard-coasters-rides.2288/ Something that I've often thought about for my garden. You will need to get those huggers and axel movement right.
