    Major Operational Changes for 2018

Funny thing is, "when does the park open?" Is actually an unanswerable question now.

    Major Operational Changes for 2018

You never know, with a bit of luck, this might make the news. There's such a big enthusiast presence at the moment, look at the news of the Mouse, tons of papers started broadcasting articles, mainly due to so much enthusiast uproar. With a bit of luck, this shit news will reach out beyond...

    Major Operational Changes for 2018

Do we know that yet? They just mentioned areas, as opposed to individual rides.

    Major Operational Changes for 2018

This definitely the lowest of the low. Remember back when them rumours of 5 rides being removed came about (Sub Terra, Ripsaw etc), who'd have thought we'd have reached a lower level than that :( What was once one of the world's leading theme parks, is now an absolute joke due to pure greed.

    Blackpool Pleasure Beach: General Discussion

The world would be a boring place if we all agreed with each other.

    WDW Magic Kingdom: General Discussion

Surely thats just worse for the environment?

    WDW Epcot: General Discussion

Mary Poppins ride seems apt, although with Frozen, GotG and Ratatouille, Epcot really is becoming just another generic Disney park.

2018: Wicker Man - General Discussion - SPOILERS! - Part One

If that is true, the train will be longer than the first drop XD

    Blackpool Pleasure Beach: General Discussion

I think the fact that Pleasureland soon reopened as basically a rubbish fair ground with lesser rides, and has still managed to make money, and even still be around today, sort of shows that what you're saying is incorrect. Pleasureland's closure wasn't a usual one, like Camelot or American...

    Towers Loving Care

You can see from these videos why Towers used to be considered one of the best parks in the World. Thanks Merlin for changing that

2018: Wicker Man - General Discussion - SPOILERS! - Part One

What size do we reckon the trains will be? I've seen comments earlier on in this thread about them being the larger 12 car trains... really? Look how small pretty much all of the drops are. My money would be on the mid size (8 car) trains.

    Flamingo Land: General Discussion

I think their latest instalments have proven that they'l happily short change their customers.

    American Adventure Park

I didn't even realise just how much of a short life span the American Adventure had, opening in just 1985. It wasn't even 20 years old before all the trouble kicked in. It's sad that it became so big and just suddenly failed in such a short amount of time. And with regards to this petition, his...

    Blackpool Pleasure Beach: General Discussion

As good as the risk taking was for us enthusiasts when it comes to BPB, ultimately, Frontierland paid for the Big One, and Pleasureland paid for Valhalla. Both of them parks had such charm and character, I would rather they were still around today. Ride closures and general cut backs over the...

    Paultons Park: General Discussion

I would imagine its only a matter of time before their travelling Log Flume is replaced something of a much higher standard.

    Drayton Manor Park

Whilst it' good to stick to your ethics, Pautlons will never stick to the "under 10s", it's growing at such a rate, they'll have no choice but to add rides for all the family.

    Drayton Manor Park

I think they've got enough thrill rides though, family rides is what the park needs. A medium sized wooden coaster and nice new dark ride in place of Pirates would be ideal and really set the park up for the future.

    Towers Loving Care

I wish they could could some proper greeney on Towers Street, back in he day it used to look really really good. This promo video from the early 90's shows just how different the park was back then. And Towers street looked fab!

Blackpool Pleasure Beach: Icon - 2018 Mack Double Launch Coaster

One small hill that's likely to be better than an entire ride on the Big One!

    Drayton Manor Park

For me, the big diffrence between Paultons/Peppa and Drayton/Thomas is that Paultons was a incredibly mediocre small kids park that really wasn't worth visiting. Peppa was a huge success and they'e now transforming the park because of it, investing amounts that we would have never of even...
