No Environmental Health objects to the second, Darkest Depths, application, with a determination date set for May 16th.
So we could easily see both in place by the end of next month.
Courtesy of TPWW's latest video, access gates are being put in place and the construction walls have been added to almost all the posts we saw going in earlier in the week. By the end of the day it should be all blocked off.
With there not being a CEMP with this application, it's difficult to know what their schedule is like but I'd guess that the plan is to get the platform/walk way built while the weather is a bit more predictable and started whilst the park is quiet in comparison to mid-June onwards. I'd...
Lots of fence posts already in place. Think we can be pretty sure the application was approved at this point.

Makes sense to start now, with a bit of a lull prior to the next half term at the end of May. After this month, with school trips, the summer holidays and three events in a row, it's hard to find a period of the season where they'll be able to get a decent amount of work done in one go.
No objections to the first application from either the Alton and Farley parish councils nor the county council's Environment Health department.
The determination date for this first of the two applications has been set for May 6th.
It's not quite the confirmation document, that cannot be far away from being added to the planning portal at this point, but it would certainly be an odd choice to install a camera if the park have been told the application has been refused planning permission.
The fact the only document to be...
Two things I didn't clock yesterday on the application page:
Determination required date: 02/04/2024
Agreed extended date: 18/04/2024
Seems awfully handy that this camera has been spotted a couple of days after the application's agreed determination date.
The noise assessment (Cahill Design Consultants P2260 Rev.1.0 Dec23) that this new document refers to for that, as far as I can tell, isn't on the planning portal either.
Other documents that we went through when the application first appeared make reference to it as well.
As far as I can tell, not yet. The document that has been added today (it definitely wasn't there last night) is dated last Thursday so I can only assume that recommendation is in a document not yet uploaded to the planning portal.
The recommendation will have gone directly to the person who is...
A bit of an update to this application, with a heavy emphasis on 'bit'.
Firstly a new document has been added to the application, this time via the Environmental Health department of the council rather than the park. Interestingly, other than EH having no objection to the proposed development...
