    Planet Coaster 2 Speculation

And a few more ideas (gosh I really do want this game!) - generative filling. Currently planting some topiaries along the perimeter of a ride area and it's taken me 20mins - and I'm maybe half way there. Wouldn't it be cool to select an area, or the edge of a path, press a button and tada -...

[2024] Thorpe Park: Hyperia - Mack Hypercoaster

Bit late to the party, but I think the trains look neat and sleek. Nothing too extravagant, but pretty smart. Front does look like Lego though!

[2024] Thorpe Park: Hyperia - Mack Hypercoaster

With all the reports of the first train on site (I've seen a lot on Twitter the past day or so), they'll need to assemble it and give it a once-over before it can run. With the schools still on holiday in some places, I wouldn't be surprised to see it do a ~1am test at the start of next week, so...

    Theme Park Artwork/Community Crafting

My reaction to this discovery: Jokes aside this looks like a wonderful little project - will you be doing the spooky old book as well?

    Galactica's Future

With all this talk stemming from Nemesis Reborn, Project Ocean and Forbidden Valley as as whole, naturally there's been discussion about integrating Air/Galactica into the new military story. Personally, I think giving it a Phalanx theme would be detrimental to the ride as a whole. The entire...

    John Wardley New Book

I read the original (alongside Tales from the Towers) a lot when I was young - it was a great resource as a diehard fan and a nice comforting escape when times got tough. Do we know much about what the new book will cover, aside from Nemesis Reborn? Whatever it's about, I'm looking forward to...

    Planet Coaster 2 Speculation

Another idea just popped into my head - more dark ride transit types. Omnimovers, circular/small boats, madhouses, mini drop towers - paired with an overhauled show effects system, making more varied dark rides could be fun again. Currently it feels somewhat limited.

    2024: General Discussion

The whole refurbishment would have been calculated and, in the long run, deemed worthy of investment. Seeing as there's been an arcade there for decades, we aren't exactly loosing anything at all. Yeah alright, it would've been cool to see an indoor ride or something else there, but they've...

[2024] Thorpe Park: Hyperia - Mack Hypercoaster

Speaking of testing, the electronics must be ready as the transfer track is moving. Shouldn't be too long before trains are rolling now. https://www.facebook.com/share/v/qAAu4JsrnYwwFsKq/

    Nemesis Reborn: General Discussion

I dunno, look at Thirteen with how it can't run in the rain, and has had trims added to the base of the lift... However you look at it, Smiler was a nightmare in its early years. Dodgy concrete, stalling, track gaps, missing bolts and wheels - one of these things happening is pretty...

    Chessington World of Adventures Resort

I reckon they're missing a trick, they could have a drive through car wash at the exit. Couple quid (let's face it, more) for a clean car as you leave.

    Planet Coaster 2 Speculation

Some superb ideas in this thread. I've played the first one to death and cannot wait for the inevitable sequel - here's a few things I'd love to see... Performance and Small Tweaks Raytracing and DLSS support Improved First Person mode (I'm aware there's a cheat you can use to enable this but...

[2024] Thorpe Park: Hyperia - Mack Hypercoaster

Always great to see an opening date! Just in time before the schools have a cheeky half term as well. Hoping to head down in June and ride it for myself. Can't imagine it'll be long before it starts testing.

X-Sector's Future (including Oblivion and The Smiler)

If there's enough room in that building, a modern funhouse style attraction would be great to see. They carry tacky associations, but the one at Phantasialand proves that you can do one with sleek style. You could take all the usual elements - trommel, jumping floorboards, spinning panels etc...

    2024: General Discussion

Unless I'm mistaken (not exactly tuned into how school holidays work), this half term is staggered, so some council groups will break up, others won't. It'll probably be busy, but quieter than the week after - but it's hard to say for certain.

    Nemesis Reborn: General Discussion

It's something like that, yeah - Six Flags Great Adventure debuted Superman Ultimate Flight a couple weeks later, thus the favour returned.

    Nemesis Reborn: General Discussion

Couple years ago I went to a 35mm film screening with cast/crew Q&A, which cost me £21. Was a great evening hearing people talk about the movie and some of the questions were good (naturally I didn't have one until a couple days later). So whilst the initial £120 for the Nemesis event may seem...

    Scarefest 2024

From the top of my head it tends to start June/July, so it's great that the process is starting already. Hopefully means they'll recruit a good number of actors, and more of them. I don't recall seeing costume sizes on previous adverts (although I don't exactly give them much attention), so...
