I think people are getting confused with "they are attached" and "they will attach"

Yes my bad lol so yes what you said in ur previous post makes senseI don't think they are built in, they just attach to the craft. Alton Towers have said that the headsets will be cleaned after every use, that would be very difficult to do without significantly affecting the throughput if they were built into the craft.
If they make it as far as 800 I'll be impressed.I'm looking forward to getting throughput calculator out on Air/Galactica next season, if they hit 1500pph as they say I will be shocked!
Not really, although throughput still needs to be efficient.Do we think there will be many times they need to hit 1500 per hour? I can't see the next few seasons being too busy unfortunately![]()
The VR won't be a video, otherwise its not quite VR, it will be like a game, where your movement is controlled by the actual coaster. Picture a virtual camera that moves as the wearer does. What happens if the you get a stop on the lift hill. Does the vr loop or switch off? I'm sure h+s would have something to say about stranded guests in a virtual world.
Can you take you headset off at any point?
Sounds like a challenge to me.The resort have confirmed that you can ride without the headsets. I'd assume there'd be some sort of way of securing the headset to the craft to stop it from knocking you out![]()
very good point, actually......I'm curious to know if there will be anything to prevent riders taking off the headsets half way around the ride....
