2016: Air - Re-theme to VR Coaster - Galactica
I'd love to see the nemesis creatures journey to earth. It would give a continuous nemesis theme throughout the area (at least until sw8, but that could follow the same theme). At the moment, unless you know the storyline, there is no continuation across the area, a space/nemesis theme to air would sort this, maybe (if done well) it will make the area feel more immersive. Done badly, and it will further split the areas theming contrast.

What part does ripsaw play in the nemesis story?
I think that both blade and ripsaw are meant to be clearing the trees from the valley so that phalanx can attack nemesis. What part does ripsaw play in the nemesis story?

Aww that's a cool idea. I like it.

"The Phalanx" never existed before Sub-standard opened. Ripsaw was supposed to be some kind of machine to decontaminate the workers who restrained Nemesis. This is why it used to end the cycle with "you have been detoxed by Ripsaw".I think that both blade and ripsaw are meant to be clearing the trees from the valley so that phalanx can attack nemesis.
Blade was... something... construction-y... that was never really explained very well. Maybe the swinging blade cut the steel girders used to pin Nemy down? Who knows. But wasn't it a nice coincidence that it fits in the space left by Thunder Looper?

They still say that. This is why it used to end the cycle with "you have been detoxed by Ripsaw".
Yeah, that makes sense. I'm sure that blade is cutting through the valley to make way for army type people though."The Phalanx" never existed before Sub-standard opened. There's actually a link you can go to (I don't know if you knew or not) that shows whatever image is to do with that code. If you go to http://www.altontowers.com/img/logos/air-space-logo.png then that shows the Air space logo
Reminds me of a certain black hole *cough*

I always thought that Blade and Ripsaw were supposed to be excavation equipment used in the digging which ended up unearthing the Nemesis creature.

I agree. They need no more explanation or convoluted story in the narrative of FV than that.

As far as I'm aware the Phalanx only featured in the Nemesis comic until Sub Terra, and they were a very different organisation.
I'm pretty sure I read something once that suggested along with Ripsaw's purpose being decontamination that Blade was for cutting up chunks of Nemesis for scientific tests. I've no idea whether that has any proper basis in the park's backstory for Forbidden Valley or is just a fan theory. It's probably safest to assume that it was just meant to be scrap torn out of the ground when Nemesis was discovered and went nuts.

I think a new soundtrack is a given.
Shame, I liked airs music.
Be nice if it was used but updated... As a homage to it.
