2016: Air - Re-theme to VR Coaster - Galactica

IMAscore get a lot of 'fan worship' or whatever you want to call it due to the way they promote themselves. When IMAscore do a sountrack you know about it and more often than not they are very good soundtracks for theme parks. Plus they like to let parks put the music onto CDs for us to buy!
But IMAscore and their merits is somewhat off-topic, don't forget our 'IMAscore...overhyped?' thread if you want to discuss them specifcially.
Regarding Air, I'd imagine there is a decent chance IMA may be involved in any new music for it next year.

Maybe they expect people to only hear it over the kind of crappy speakers Merlin use, with all the sound of screaming and ride noise hiding the flaws? They certainly don't expect audiophiles to be listening to it at home on a decent sound system and being critical.

There's 2 trademarks, Galactica and intergalatic, one of the sections for Galactica is amusement park rides, and one of them for intergalactic is food/merchandize so I guess they'll tie in.I wonder if galactic is the name for the foodloops restaurant

Hi all.
I was at the hotels on Saturday, playing crazy golf and saw the following. I assume they are for the air shop rebuild. Sorry for them being not very good pics, they were at max zoom and it was horrible weather.
Also, Air was running the whole time we were golfing. There seemed to be something in the front row seats but non of my pictures of that were even recognisable as air (blurred mess - light levels too low for high iso).

To be honest I couldn't get a good look at what was in the front seats. The ride seemed to be running with quite a pace and the part where you can see the ride, doing the carpark turn, it went past in a bit of a blur. It was the consensus of the 5-6 people with us that it looked like something was strapped in the seats but not human and not one of the water filled dummies, something darkish but not black. The car park looked a bit out of bounds so we didnt want to go wandering where we shouldn't and to be honest we were having fun on the golf course. Could it have been telemetry logger? possably, but I would have thought that would have been done eons ago, unless it is calabration?

You've got to think that would have been done a while ago, no?A piece of equipment that records all axis of movement and g force. Used to create movement mapping for virtual reality systems
It would of been done of site, without the actual ride to use. This could be calibration or even testing. You've got to think that would have been done a while ago, no?
So, does this confirm the rumors of VR then?

It has to use the ride?!
