2018: Park Operations & Ride Availability

Rapids has stopped with boats stacked at bottom of lift hill. Staff take 10 mins to come down with no announcement either, then when they do make their way down don’t explain what’s happened.

They stopped the pumps so the staff could use the kettle.

popped out to change shoes and had a look at the shiny new machines at plaza, unfortunately out of service.

Really poor to see what appears to be deliberate queue building on both Rita & Thi3teen this morning. holding full trains for a few mins and empty trains going round on both.

If this is indeed deliberate and done to push fastrack it's absolutely disgusting and should not be tolerated by guests. Merlin needs hammered if this is what they're doing. They'd just pull the safety card if questioned about it though.

They have been doing this for years on RMT, every time I have gone on (I go on it every single trip), they just let the full train sit in the station for 3-4 min while the staff just stand there talking, which, I cant see how they cant talk while the ride is going round!

Operations weren’t great today. Queue times were very off all day. Galactica up to its usual tricks of sending round empty rows even though non vr was clearly walk on but we were being held before the old photo point. RMT the queue was going outside the queue line yet the op was letting a number of trains go around 3 times. Wickerman at the end of the day was hilarious they put way too many in the pre show so whilst the next one was going in the door was still open and once we got into the station there were 6 people in each air gate. The positive of this morning was wm opening on time and the smiler staff were letting you self batch!

Ironically Thorpe Park, notorious for horrid operations, was pretty good ops all day.

As far as I know, yes. But with the very hot weather these last few weeks I don't think it's been available much because the gondolas turn into mini greenhouses
