2018: Park Operations & Ride Availability

I wasn't there yesterday but I think it's not as bad today. The park is fairly quiet although still moderate queues of about 40 mins for the popular coasters.

It absolutely chucked it down over lunch so queues have now gone smaller. Currently in a 20 min queue for Wicker Man. I haven't been over to the Valley yet so not sure what's going on with Nemesis (currently unavailable). Oblivion is only running one of the stations and has about 20 min queue. Don't think anything is on one train.

Some friends of mine are at the park today and said on a group chat it's been horrendous in terms of queues so far today.

They were even more chuffed when I informed them they've only got until 4pm...

I told them that they'll spend longer in the car coming to and from London than actually in the park!

Has nemesis always closed in the rain?

Depends how heavy it is. The back row often closes in heavy rain but it would have to be torrential for them to stop the entire ride.

It is one of those...I shouldn't do this, but I can't help myself because the front row is walk on...moments.

I rode front row on Rita in a hailstorm one memorable Scarefest evening a few years back ... that was an "experience"

I've ridden them all in the rain, I first coined the phrase "like having knitting needles hitting your face" when I first rode Nemesis in the rain the first season that it opened. Stealth was built years later
