Could this link in with the new owners?Towers Street are reporting on Facebook that Tree Top quest is reopening in the next 2 weeks. Nice to see things starting to reopen.
But I definitely agree that it's nice to see TTQ back!

Seems way too sudden for that, besides Merlin is still for now public.Could this link in with the new owners?

I imagine it'll be fixed fairly quickly, something on site engineers could do.Was on site today, Nemesis entrance is fenced off with a scaffolding van parked outside the entrance. Seems like this maybe down for a little while.
Wicker man is different though, like a car, it's probably got a warranty, in that it'll have to fixed with an approved part.
In their defence, up until Wicker Man went down, ride reliability has been much better this year - as has operations. Finally, after years of ruining what once was the UK's best theme park, merlin are now being bought. 'we will use our wealth and experience as we acknowledge the potential growth'. Wow that statement makes me burst out with joy. Too long merlin have ruined my home park and hopefully soon things will change. Just these 3 things will do:
- more investment
- better opening hours
- much improved ride reliability
Recently the reliability has been terrible with nemmy and wicker down for maintenance. How has it taken them until now to do this, when all the crowds are pouring in. Pathetic and is why I hate merlin
Much like yesterday, two of the coach parks were completely full.Today is somewhat shambolic. The number of coaches is absolutely eye watering. That's a pretty impressive recovery of that market.
Ride closing shifted to 6pm.

Yeah as Craig says it’s been on the cards all season

Its the time of year where its still light past 10pm. The park is rammed but still only open till 6pm, the sun is still high at that time but no.
Of all things this is the thing that annoys me the most. Utilise the longer days god damn it.
Now I fully agree with the principle you are suggesting but they could have stayed open until 8pm today and the park would have been dead by 6.30. School trips are dictated by the coach companies not the park.

We were told there was an aim to have Treetop Quest open back up this year when it was queried during the Stargazing preview, so definitely not related to the buy out![]()
Ah right, thanks for the clarification guys!Yeah as Craig says it’s been on the cards all season

School days were always such fun, those first and last hours were dead... With utter chaos in the middle...
Midweek there's little point opening late until school's are finished...

If the ride times are anything to go by, today looks like Nemesis is planned to open today at 10 while Enterprise and Wicker Man are still advertised as closed.
Only time will tell

How can enterprise STILL be closed. They said it was reopening in june but that was a lie wasn't it! They've done the maintenance and painted up the area so why not reopen it now god sakeIf the ride times are anything to go by, today looks like Nemesis is planned to open today at 10 while Enterprise and Wicker Man are still advertised as closed.

I'm getting the impression that Black Buckineer and Enterprise are at high risk of going to the great Huss scrapheap in the sky at the current "repair" rate

Nemesis on the queue time boards and app never said it was closed yesterday, just a constant 0 minutes was displayed throughout the day.If the ride times are anything to go by, today looks like Nemesis is planned to open today at 10 while Enterprise and Wicker Man are still advertised as closed.

They needed a major part fabricating which the supplier couldn’t get delivered until mid season and this was the reason for the main delay. I don’t know why it’s still down, best guess is keeping the rest of the rides going is taking a lot of tech services time and they have slipped behind with enterprise.
