Imagine this will feel a lot like Bell rock, with a really nice area outside to have a drink in the summer.

Almost a clone of Bell Rock. My worry is that it looks a bit to samey.Imagine this will feel a lot like Bell rock, with a really nice area outside to have a drink in the summer.

I know what you mean, the building does have a lot of similarities with Bell Rock in terms of the shape/design. I think it will feel sufficiently different though, especially once Rulantica has opened.

The sculpture that Thomas Mack showed us all a little while back has now been place outside of Krønasår:
And as you now come to expect, there is a convoluted backstory regarding it on the ACE website.
Just 6 weeks to go until it opens!

I'm wondering how they will "cover up" the view of Rulantica, not just during construction but as a whole.
The back of Bell rock is my number 1 spot to sit and have a drink, because it has a very open feel and is a sun trap.
My concern is that at the back of Kronasar, you'll just be sat looking across the water at the back of Rulantica....
Or a construction site in it's early days.

Obviously during construction there is not much can be done although they could well put up some themed construction banners as they have done with Scandinavia.
As for when Rulantica is complete, I would say that you are looking over to the front of Rulantica! That is where the entrance is and that whole side will be fully themed:

Europa Park today celebrated the “official key handover” (any excuse for a celebration at Europa Park
) which seems to imply that Hotel Krønasår is now essentially finished and ready for opening!
Thomas Mack said on Twitter: “There's the thing! We are very happy to celebrate the official key handover today. This is the next milestone reached. A big compliment to all involved! We can not wait for that #HotelKrønasår to open on 31.05. #howtobuildahotel”
There was also some interesting images on Europa Park Hotels Instagram story... mainly Ed Euromaus on a jet ski!

Thomas Mack has now shared a look at the inside of Bubba Svens:
Needless to say that it looks wonderful. I am excited to see how Tre Kronen looks also.

Is this an a'la'carte restaurant or a quick service / food court? By the photos I'm guessing it's the latter?

The snake skeleton, has arrived at Hotel Krønasår and is now in the process of being assembled on the earlier installed framework in the atrium! In a tweet, Michael Mack calls the snake Svalgur, which is a character that will also feature in the new dark ride, Snorri Touren if the description of the ride on the website is anything to go by. Pictures from Michael Mack on Twitter:
Another look inside the hotel reveals for the first time, the Bar Erikssøn. Looks like they have a well stocked range of alcohols in there, ready for EuropaStreet to come and sample!
