It seems there are plans to improve the overflow car park for next year. A planning application has been filed regarding the surfacing of part of the existing overflow car park and enhanced internal access arrangements, new landscaping and ground and drainage works.

"The car park will be surfaced with Sudspave Geogrid with gravel and grass infill on roads and aisles and Sudspave Geogrid with topsoil and grass infill on parking bays. Only a small section of the access road is proposed to be surfaced with porous gravel paths. A zebra pedestrian crossing is to be provided across the access road."
 
Black Friday sale on 2020 Season passes if it interests anyone. £50 for Standard passes and £65 for Premium until Monday.
 
Excellent value for the premium pass, however they were £65 a few weeks back and no doubt will be again Boxing day!
 
Is it true that Alton Towers have scrapped bring 5 friends or family for Season Pass holder's? It seems only Merlin Pass holders only get that.

Maybe. Right now they are saying a decision hasn’t been made on whether this offer will return for 2020.

No but I'm currently waiting to decide between a season pass or map based on the bring a friend position..... Personally I don't think a product should be on sale when it's t&C's are not yet definite.

I'm in the same boat but with the standard MAP

As it stands with the restrictions standard will do as we don't live in london and skip AT in the school holidays....Premium were a bit of a waste of money this year

They haven't announced next years restriction dates and can't tell me when they will....yet the free 3 month extra sale ends on tuesday and they're not having a january sale this year....when ours need renewing
