The Congo River Rapids has been closed for a few days now and fully drained. Wonder what's up with it? Good time for maintenance now though as it's getting colder (ridership on (wet) water rides is always lower in cold weather).
 
When I visited a few days ago the lake water level was very low (this was taken while the Rapids channel was empty). Assume they are perhaps having issues supplying adequate levels of water to the ride?

I’m not hugely knowledgeable about CRR’s ride system, but isn’t the lake a natural water lake which isn’t fed by a pipe? I may be wrong of course. If it’s not a man made piped water supply issue then where has the water gone, or has it been purposefully drained?
 
I wish they sold more merchandise online, I always mean to pop by towers street when I'm on park but I'm always too giddy lapping nemesis and running ride to ride and we always spend the last hour at forbidden valley and use that exit at the end of the day.

Go in the shop straight away when you enter the park if you use the FV exit

It does seem weird, after all isn't it the same warehouse either way?

I was in the park yesterday. Weather conditions - mainly torrential rain stopped play for about an hour. We came off Wicker Man at 3pm and felt like we’d been through the washing machine spin cycle! Most major rides reopened at 4pm.
