Well that's one way to ruin what had been a nicely refurbished building...! But I guess if it is no longer going to be a photo booth then there is no point having the nicely styled light up photo sign. Leek Signs will no doubt be chuffed with the extra work!

Wish they could of followed the original design or actually upgrade not degrade. To be honest the whole towers street needs modernising and redesigning, to bring the magic back! Along the lines of Diagon Alley at Universal. Better quality facades with theming and a little interaction. Not sure when the entrance facade, as well as the street will get brought up to 2021 standards.

Surely you jest? It’s a return to what we previously had and probably still isn’t fully equipped to deal with the volume of guests it needs to handle .

The reason it was even moved into the Box Office was because the management thought a visibly long queue for complaints would reduce the volume of guests complaining - that strategy obviously didn’t work , it just left us with the ridiculous cramped mess that we had the last few years . A dedicated Guest Services for a park as big as Towers is a bare minimum not a huge change that should garner praise !

I was on park yesterday, and it was a hive of energy!

Did anyone else driving in notice the new updated logo on the entrance boards? Just waiting for the plaza ones to be updated now!

Also my only gripe here, as we know Battle Galleons has had work done and it looks nice and refreshed.. BUT I wish they’d have used the original Mutiny Bay flags, the ones they had when it originally opened. I feel the ones they have at the moment are very generic and tacky. I presume this is only due to cost though!

Also, the frogs look AMAZING! You can also just about make out the lighting package if you look carefully.

Other than that, the whole park, well from what I saw was looking fresh!

Quick, Towers St powers that be. Knock up a photo of the Galactica tunnel fully themed.

There now seems to be confirmation of the locations of the 4 temp ride locations (even though we've already seen 3)
Twister - TWoDW
Waltzer - Dark Forest (Ug Swinger site) - pictures of this one are apparently surfacing, albeit its the only one I haven't seen
Smashing Jump - X-Sector (Submission site)
Super Trooper - Forbidden Valley (Ripsaw site)

EDIT: also, apprarently they're going to try and blend them into the area as best they can with official queue lines and signage.

Just going to take a moment to appreciate that the canal has also been stripped of the weeds. The Gardens are looking fantastic at the moment, and it's great to see the Conservatories with actual plants in them!

There's also new social distancing measures on the Skyride's FV station:

Strange to see the skyride gondolas on the system with the park closed - presumably they've been running for training recently?

Lots of rides testing today, so I can only assume staff training is in full force. Monorail, Skyride, Spinball, Get Set Go, Smiler and Rita. More TLC also taking place on Battle Galleons and staff cleaning/(painting?) boats.

Gardens look great, especially the canals now you can actually see the water. I hope they are kept weed free all year.
