ah yes, the nemesis rollercoaster threadAnother insult - it's just opinions - You are the person who said people should not go to Poland? You probably don't use Twitter, Uber, Snapchat, the telephone network, petrol - all funded by Saudi investment
Ah yes - I have been talking about Nemesis - someone said I must be "high" so guess you'll respond to that?ah yes, the nemesis rollercoaster thread
How was the atmosphere? Gutted I couldn't be there.
I wouldnāt worryā¦ Iāll be staggered if B&M arenāt used for this. Based on how adamant they seem about keeping the ride itself the same, as well as the fact that the station, brake run and lift hill are being kept, Iām almost certain that B&M will be providing the new track for this. Thanks for the incredible excitement, thrills and entertainment Jon Wardley and Nemmie.
Absolute legends.
Can't wait till 2024.
My Honda manual recommends using Honda parts to keep it a Honda. Merlin, please don't get Gerstlauer to do the retrack to keep costs down lol.
JW and B and M for the win. Please don't change the music!
Indeed they do. Monster at Grona Lund is their newest invert and it uses the exact same style of trains that Nemesis uses.I wouldnāt worryā¦ Iāll be staggered if B&M arenāt used for this. Iām not even sure itāll have the vest restraint trains, to be honest; correct me if Iām wrong, but donāt the vest restraint trains require wider track and a wider clearance?
I think the only B&M Invert to use vest restraints is Banshee, isnāt it?Indeed they do. Monster at Grona Lund is their newest invert and it uses the exact same style of trains that Nemesis uses.
Indeed yes again.I think the only B&M Invert to use vest restraints is Banshee, isnāt it?
What is the cost per train? Is there a reason why they would not refurbish the existing trains to save costs?Indeed they do. Monster at Grona Lund is their newest invert and it uses the exact same style of trains that Nemesis uses.
If I had to guess, it's probably the same reason for the retrack, the structure is just at the end of its supposed lifespan and is tired. What is the cost per train? Is there a reason why they would not refurbish the existing trains to save costs?
The trains outside of a few seats and changing the covering are not too bad - new wheels on new track would be OK - woud there be a place to sell the old trains or just junked which would be a shameIf I had to guess, it's probably the same reason for the retrack, the structure is just at the end of its supposed lifespan and is tired.
I can imagine they could potentially sell pieces in the gift shops around the park. Blackpool and Drayton Manor do that with their old former rides. The trains outside of a few seats and changing the covering are not too bad - new wheels on new track would be OK - woud there be a place to sell the old trains or just junked which would be a shame
Correct. It's not the track that's the problem with Nemesis it's the clearance. Vests require wider trains.I think the only B&M Invert to use vest restraints is Banshee, isnāt it?
Has anyone found any vids of Nemesis last train? I would love to see it!
