Good luck! I always try and ride "head forward" as much as possible, seems to helpYes, I go on everytime thinking "please, please don't be rough/cause me headbanging" but it just seems to. Hopefully that won't be the case tomorrow.

Yeah, it's weird, i like the Smiler restraints personally, they sit well on my body so never bang my head on them, whereas the nemeis restraints - as bulky as they are - sit just inches away from my ears and i've been clobbered by them on numerous occassions. Horses for course as you say.I’ve never had a rough experience on nemesis, it’s always been my favourite at towers. Granted it is aggressive and maybe a tad jolty on sections, like when exiting the zero G roll, but overall I just get my head forward and enjoy. Had 10 rides on it Wednesday just lapping it and no headache. the smiler on the other hand is one I don’t get on with! I find it very uncomfortable and I hate the restraints. But it’s all personal preference and everyone has different tolerances.
Ye I've noticed that this year. Never noticed it before but it certainly does whip you out the element. I personally think the jolt on that is worse than any part on the smiler this year. Maybe that's because I've only just noticed so maybe I've focused on itGranted it is aggressive and maybe a tad jolty on sections, like when exiting the zero G roll,
I always find the second corkscrew a bit jolty as well. I’ve always personally found Smiler worse, however.Ye I've noticed that this year. That's true some trains are certainly worse than others. I've had some smooth rides and some rough. Not particularly consistent must sayI’d say the smiler is more of a rattle with jolts on certain inversions, which seems a trend with gerstlauer coasters, Nemesis does not have a rattle in my opinion and has that feel of quality that B&M’s provide despite it ageing considerably now. The smiler feels like it’s been profiled on RCT sometimes... I’m sure there are certain trains with square wheels and you can have a completely different experience from one ride to the next.
Doesn't sound goodThe disappointment when you save Nemesis for later because it’s your favourite and then it closes with engineers working on the break run and empty train on the lift hill
Oh dear! Hope it’s just a niggle and it’s open to night rides for you. It was incredible the last two nights. You forget how intense it can be after 9 or 10 hours of warming up.The disappointment when you save Nemesis for later because it’s your favourite and then it closes with engineers working on the break run and empty train on the lift hill

I hope it's fixed for tomorrow! I'm going with some alton tower's virgins and want them to experience everything!
Rita will no doubt be the first to go so I wouldn't worry about nemesis yetNemesis is my favourite ride at Towers so i hope it doesn't leave next and i can see Galactica going before!
That's music to my ears after how much shoulder damage i got this Summer! I'm surprised i can even carry rucksacks now!Rita will no doubt be the first to go so I wouldn't worry about nemesis yet
