I have too, except my first time at towers was when Covid was rife in the UK, but it was quite nice seeing the top of the lifthill. Had no idea its almost never open at the top, so lucky I got some photos!I have only ever used the whole queue once, in opening year.
It does give some amazing views though.
Back when it first opened the queueline used to go over the back towards the Galactica lift side. There was a lot more to it than the extra bit you did during Covid. Just for your infoI have too, except my first time at towers was when Covid was rife in the UK, but it was quite nice seeing the top of the lifthill. From an also 9/10 year Old's memory. The Oblivion queue line used to split at various points up the hill, into three lines which went into their respective loading bay at the station. Remnants of it are used now for Fastrack. I could also be completely misremembering, of course. If I recall, didn't it run along the ridge at the top of the pit and back into the woods.
I was a mere 10 years old in 1994, so my memory may be wrong.
Same as the Air queue, that used to be huge. The only coaster of that time that didn't seem to have a massive queue was Oblivion, but that may be deceiving because of the layout.

I wouldn't expect any changes (except maybe making it step free?) to the layout, especially if the bit after the final turnback is inside Galactica's ride area
Yes, but look at it! Probably did at least a 2-3 hour queue in 94-95 up there. I remember looking at the graffiti and being bored and passing by the loop towards the side where Galactica is now.If you queued all that original queue you'd be there about 5 hours
Working with teenagers at the time, I spent many work hours with one or two moody teens in all of the queueline, for about the next five years.Yes, but look at it! I queued in the original line. Can't remember how long it was, but I do remember getting through a 20 pack of cigarettes whilst waiting! If you queued all that original queue you'd be there about 5 hours
