No proof/announcement from the park, but maybe they've told people at the park through the app? Initially came from Attraction Source who tend to be pretty reliable.

Not really… they’ve done exceptionally well with the marketing so far, the coaster isn’t closing and it’s not opening either.

Just noticed the new eye that was revealed in the teaser was a different colour to the original, so I quickly edited it to match it up more with the original.
