For Efteling you can share your key, but anyone sharing it also needs the app. It’s also not obligatory; you can collect a traditional keycard from reception.

If that’s the system that’s implemented, it’s a great idea, allowing those who want to bypass the sometimes lengthy check-in queues.

According to the hotel app sharing is not yet implemented, but will be. meanwhile everybody can log in to the same account as a workaround.

Also, digital key cards will be available from spring for Apple users and Summer for Android users. I'm android so it might not be live by my visit anyway.
