[2025] Europa-Park General Discussion

Room service is until 10pm. The burgers are €34. There’s an additional €7.50 service charge.
No way did we pay €34 for the kids burgers. Me n the missus bought club sandwiches and tbh they were too big, we looked at the kids’ burgers and knew we should have just got those for ourselves. They were pretty cheap from memory. Plus they came under cool home alone style chrome domes on a proper wheelie table.

€34 is the price for the adult meal. Kids hamburger is €16, €17 with cheese.

I can see why people think that is expensive. Portions i think are generally big at least, and thats across the Resort. Also, it depends what you’re comparing to. My brother is currently at Universal Florida, for Epic, got 2 beers, cocktail, two ice creams and bottle of water.. $90… so yeah..

Be interesting to see how well the film does, being released in mainland Europe the same weekend as Fantastic Four doesn't bode well. Found some German reviews via imdb as well and the couple I looked at was 2 stars and 1 1/2 stars.

Think its out in the UK in August.

Whilst I wish the Mack family and Europa Park no ill will, I genuinely hope that the film is a failure. From a theme park perspective the new film has served only as a detractor. It’s resulted in the Gameplay theatre being incongruously themed and shoehorned into Luxembourg Square and the gameplay and storyline is thin to non-existent, all driven primarily by foisting the IP onto it.

I fear any sort of success is only going to embolden the Mack fascination in dumping IPs into places and attractions they don’t belong.

And as for what it’s done to Euromaus and his plushes, that feels like reason alone to wish misfortune.

Does anyone know if I can park at Silver Lake Saloon when staying off site? Never been before and keen to see the new area and maybe have dinner there. Thanks

Yes I think there is a carpark you can use, we had a dinner reservation there once and it was hammering it down so we drove. That was before all the new stuff went in though so the car park might be smaller now.

The park have released a trio of books to celebrate the anniversary, in multiple languages and available both at the park and via the online store:

Oh, lordy, another collector's album involving stickers? Please tell me this is just a revision of the album from last season, I spent a fortune buying up stickers in January (and the last 8 months not filling it in) 🫣

Not shocked in the slightest that we'll be getting even more Mack who's who-ing and back patting, either. The article says the Magic Moments book is 218 pages long. For comparison's sake, Liseberg's 2023 tome is 320 pages which also triples as a doorstopper and schnitzel press.

Either way, my bookshelf is slowly caving in from all this park literature 😆

The new collectors' album is only available in German/French as well. The other two books have English versions.

Yes, I read that too and I'm still bedgrudgingly willing to buy it.
