Interestingly the Water Park is sold out for the entirety of Half Term in February.

Not sure if that's typical. In 2023 it was quite difficult getting slots all year but in 2024 they were plentiful.

Just seems like an americanism to me. We don't really have presidents and so on do we, our companies all have chairmen, boards and various levels of directors and executive officers.

We do have Presidents in this country - the most common ones would be a student's union at a college or university.

It does seem unusual to refer to your director as a vice president though.

The very use of the word President, to signify a leader, is an entirely American invention; originally coming from "presiding officer" in this use case. If you wanted to go further back in origin.

You can see the new shipping containers with tent structures between Dark Forest and the Gardens and between Curse and the Monorail storage yard.

Don't know about the Galactica one but is the circle in Walliams world just ice/snow on the big coloured circle that's on the ground?

I guess, but why isn't it being used (if that makes sence), all the rest have little snow I am not saying something is happening there, it just seems weird to me that the circle has been avoided

Because science. Snow and ice will stick and settle to some surfaces, but not others, based on things like texture, geothermal temperature.

I'm sure you have better things to be doing with your time than studying blurry satellite imagery of Alton Towers in the snow.

I think that circle is made from the spongy rubbery material that you find in kids playgrounds so that would explain why as @GooseOnTheLoose says snow and ice react differently compared to concrete and tarmac.
