2025 General Discussion

Interestingly the Water Park is sold out for the entirety of Half Term in February.

Not sure if that's typical. In 2023 it was quite difficult getting slots all year but in 2024 they were plentiful.

It’s hotel guests only during half term.

Just seems like an americanism to me. We don't really have presidents and so on do we, our companies all have chairmen, boards and various levels of directors and executive officers.
We do have Presidents in this country - the most common ones would be a student's union at a college or university.

It does seem unusual to refer to your director as a vice president though.

Google Maps has been updated and features the resort in the snow. You can just about make out Toxicator. The lawns also look bizarre with the flooring having been removed after the snow has settled.

You can see the new shipping containers with tent structures between Dark Forest and the Gardens and between Curse and the Monorail storage yard.

flavio's fabulous fandango has gone and looks like it might be on the back of a lorry at the side of the theatre

Don't know about the Galactica one but is the circle in Walliams world just ice/snow on the big coloured circle that's on the ground?

I guess, but why isn't it being used (if that makes sence), all the rest have little snow I am not saying something is happening there, it just seems weird to me that the circle has been avoided

Because science. Snow and ice will stick and settle to some surfaces, but not others, based on things like texture, geothermal temperature.

I'm sure you have better things to be doing with your time than studying blurry satellite imagery of Alton Towers in the snow.
