Not a surprise but Forbidden Valley won’t be included in the Blue Light days on Friday 7th and Saturday 8th March nor the Kids Pass day on Sunday 9th March.

I mean, a bit of surprise, surely?

There's not really anything relating to Toxicator that would require the whole of FV to be closed.

I'm thinking it is because the page hasn't been updated but Blade seems to still be mentioned on this?

I'd be surprised if they decided to postpone the closure or get another ship in so quickly

Blade does appear to be gone, as per the recent Google maps update. It’s probably a typo or a mistake

I think it still is in google maps, it is hard to see due to the snow but:

I can faintly make put blade in that photo - not a lot appears to have been done yet.

we also don't know when the image was taken, from there has been quite a bit of snow in Alton and Uttoxeter this year, it could have been anywhere from november to a couple weeks ago.

If you go onto google maps then the copyright mark in the bottom right says 2025, so we can assume they were at least taken this year.

They’ll be in the final stages by then, so
I assume they don’t want to spoil the surprise.

I suspect they have taken the decision to phase the tech services work so that Forbidden Valley will be the last to be ready to return from winter maintenance and those rides simply won’t be ready for the pre opening weekends.

They are typically poor for ride availability anyway, at least this time it is advertised well in advance I suppose. Usually they keep quiet and allow folks to book tickets and only announce closures a few days before.

If you look at it on Google earth it states images are from 21/11/24. I quite like going back in time on earth to see the flume and corkscrew

wow I never knew about this, but yeah this was around the first winter spell so quite a while ago

I know we are all aware of the 3 ride deal that's supposedly happened, yet would we get 2 for 2025 or just a install for a second ?

If they replace Blade it won't be this year, they can't be having a big construction site in the way of their two newest rides (as well as the f&b vendors)

It should be replaced for 2026 though, but I'll bet that it won't be

An additional X-Sector flat ride wouldn't be difficult to install during the season if it was something like a Huss Breakdance / Booster on the Enterprise site.

Would be nice if true.

I’d put money on x sector where enterprise was. Tell tail sign will surely be if the food vans return?
