[2025] Project Ocean: New Forbidden Valley Flat Ride

I haven't really been in agreement with the whole Forbidden Valley is the new X Sector thing this season but this new ride genuinely just seems like they've plonked it in the wrong area of the park! (That said, great to see a top spin back in that spot)

I would argue against this, for a floorless topspin it makes sense, at x sector one row of people would be facing a road, but at this location in FV both rows get a good view of the paths (and vice versa)

for something the size they are planning.
The maitanence, weight (it is on top of a concret structure, meaning if it is heavier the concrete is more expensive), size, cost etc would be much more, I think it would be cheaper to build and run and I would argue more effective to install screens
edit: there is also a support running through it, meaning atleast one section will have to be hollow to allow it through)
and I am not expecting a 360 degree tank, more a black tank with some windows (the screens) which would show the the liquid (I think it would make the effect work better, if done right)
Good point, assuming they used a full tank. Would probably make more sense to have nested tubes and only fill the space between the two with water. Then put green LED strips up the middle.

the thing with water is if it was a tank, unless they are using many smaller tankes (many pumps required, bad for maitanence and cost) due to the height they would generate the same pressure (water is fun like that, the height dictates the pressure) meaning they would reduce the weight but would still need the same thickness of curved acrylic/glass, which wouldn't be cheap to make, anything curved and seethrough is expensive. I think it would be cheaper and better looking to install the led screens, like on the smiler marmalizer but not a full 360, cover up parts and make it look like a tank with windows
