[2025] Toxicator: New Forbidden Valley Suspended Top Spin

Counterweights look a bit meh, but those holes through them seem suspicious

They look fine to me. Solid steel disks, two per side. The holes are where they get mounted. Quite a bit of counter weight there. Huss don't adjust the counterweight on a ride by ride basis, so this thing should (or could) operate as intense as other models.

Going to the fountains, I could be wrong, but I don't think we will see them like we had them on Ripsaw. They caused chaos for maintenance with these rides.

My feeling, based on very little other than I think there is a trough on either side of the platform, is that we will see fountains but that they will be purely thematic and a ‘close miss’ for riders rather than actually drenching the ride like Ripsaw. That would be too much of a maintenance headache and doesn’t work with the new location over a path.

It would be great if they could get this open for the night riding in March but based on the way things are going for Marlin it's likely to be late Spring isn't it?

There's no indication that the construction of this is delayed. The ride is in place, so in very, very simple terms they just need to stick a 3-pin plug on the end of it, plug it in, test it and theme it. 🤣

Seriously though, I see no reason why this won't open on opening day for night riding - as long as the weather is kind to them between now and then.

That's standard when maintaining Top Spins. It protects the gondola, especially when partially disassembled.

From Reddit during this year when Talocan was being worked on. I have seen others with a more complete covering like the Towers one for same reasons.

They used to cover Ripsaw back in the day too.

Reborn opened on the first day of the season.

Is this basically the same ride type as Ripsaw, or is it updated somehow? Looks the same.

As a ride experience it will be almost identical, hence why I’m not particularly excited about it sadly (and in fact I’m actively annoyed as for all intents and purposes they’ve removed a ride my son could go on and replaced it with one he can’t due to the height restriction).
