Here's a closer look at the fountains soaking guests

Surprised it took them this long to turn on the "wet" setting. All through May & June the weather has been warm and dry with temperatures well over 20c. That's plenty warm enough to dry out It was shorts and t-shirts weather when I went beginning of the month!

I think they were waiting for the baggage boxes to be installed

I agree, looking at the quality of them - they're not cheap storage boxes from B&M - and how integrated they look to the ride, I wouldn't be surprised if the manufacturer was late delivering them or it was a "design and order" thing after the ride was opened. Probably explains why the fountains were drained last week too so they could be installed.

the fountains were filled before they were installed,

I do agree I think they look of quite high quality, I suspect they were meant to be installed with the ride, as signs on the loading platform ask you to place bags in a bag box (with a design similar to what was added), I though they would install just a wooden crate, but these look really nice (and I suspect fill the gap between the fountains and platform, as you could look down between the two)

Baggage Boxes and maybe they needed to install a different filter system that may have been delayed getting the parts for it to be able to soak guests.

Is it a different cycle when it is soaking guests

Poor design meant they could be used to climb over the fence if you had so desired.

I think this is the test cycle before it opened this morning. Doesn't look very different from the original cycle other than the water jets squirt higher on the first couple of holds which is where it get you wet then they seem to be a little higher during the cycle so I guess any extra wetness will be from spray rather than direct squirting.

I can help with this one!! I’ve been losing some weight lately to try and get on all of the rides and at my first ride on Toxicator I was around 21 stone, chest around 49/50inch. For reference, I could only get on Nemesis, Oblivion and Smiler at the time. Hope this helps! I also needed a push so feel like I was at the upper end.

I had a couple of rides on Toxicator today, and the fountains were very nice with the hot weather!

However how wet and where you get wet very much depends where you sit, because the fountains don’t all go up and down and to the same height at the same time it does mean some seats get much wetter then others.

My first ride I got very wet legs and a wet lap, but nothing else. On my second ride I got completely soaked in the face, but nothing on the legs.

And watching it off ride you can see this as well.
