[2025] Toxicator: New Forbidden Valley Suspended Top Spin

Still yet to be convinced as to how effectively they are going to tie the green and yellow/black theming items together
More importantly, how are they planning to integrate this bright green into the overall theme of the land? This ride is going to be so prominent, elevated on a platform, and having such a flashy, neon green machine next to the Nemesis station just doesn’t make sense aesthetically. It feels completely out of place. Though I can’t help but wonder if they were, quite literally, “smoking green” when they made that decision!

I'm still feeling iffy about Top Spins since my near grey out encounter at the KLM if anyone remembers that...frighting that was honestly.

I guess there’s the shabby blue/algae of Air as well but that’s not slapped bang in the middle of everything at least..

It looks even blander and devoid of any texture or detail then I was expecting.

Is it just me, or does it also look like the fountains only cover a small-ish area of the gondola?

Looks like it covers the whole gondola to me, the shots at the end of the video suggest that.

Until we see the AV effects I still don’t think we can judge this. I don’t mind the colour scheme, would have liked a bit more theming on the actual ride (though I know that the extra theming on ripsaw caused maintenance issues).

Still completely unsure on the final product here, and I doubt they will show the AV effects until they get TV stations in the week before.

I actually think it looks good; I like the "clean" look of it. The black matches the black of Nemesis and the other parts of the valley. Yes the green stands out but don't forget some of that will be hidden when it's got guests on it and their legs are dangling. Granted there could be more graphics on the underside of the gondola (didn't Ripsaw have "Can you cut it?" on its underside?) but who's to say that won't still happen before March or over the season - remember Nemesis had things added to it over last season (and may have had additions over the closed season).

It looks a bit bland, but then they've purposely cut out the theming features in that video (presumably because they are not finished), so it's hard to judge without the 'full package' in action. Hopefully, the theming features, music, and/or other effects will all come together. I don't mind the lack of theming on the gondola/ride itself as long as everything around it makes up for that. At least it's more practical for maintenance to access components, and bits of theming cannot go missing over the years like Ripsaw.

There was a point where there was no expectation of fountains at all, so that's at least a bonus!

On second look, you’re right on the fountains Dave - they do cover pretty much the entire length.

I’m not sure how much AV effects are going to add in the daylight, and equally I’m not convinced that’s a reason for the decoration to be so basic. There’s no richness or depth of detail at all.
